A big part of fleet compliance is checking the licenses of your drivers. With Avrios, it’s all done electronically. Very quick, very easy. Your drivers can do it whenever and wherever they want, and everything’s documented. It’s the convenient way to meet your obligations and reduce risks.
We offer online driver training, designed to meet the regulations in Germany according to UVV. The course is certified for the relevant authorities, covering everything required by law. And best of all, your drivers can do it any time, any place, to fit around their work.
You can’t avoid fines, but you can make them easier to manage. Much easier, with Avrios. This aspect of fleet compliance can be very time-consuming if you do it the manual way, but our software reads out fines automatically, and lets you communicate with drivers and authorities. You keep track of fines continually, and spot potential risks among your drivers.
Fleet compliance in three easy steps
Electronic driver’s license check
Driver automatically receives a notification for the check.
Driver takes a photo of the license and uploads it using their smartphone.
The electronic driver‘s license check is a simple and time-saving tool, both for the drivers and for me as the responsible person.
Why do I have to check the driver’s licenses of my fleet drivers?
In many countries, employers are legally obliged to control the licenses of employees who drive their vehicles. If they don’t, businesses and fleet managers can face civil action or criminal charges.
How often do I need to check driver’s licenses?
It depends on the country you’re in. In Germany, for example, there’s no legal requirement for the frequency of driver’s license checks, but we recommend you do it twice a year to reduce risk. In some cases, such as with drivers at higher risk of losing their license or with pool vehicles, even more frequent checks might be necessary.
Who is responsible for checking driver’s licenses?
As the keeper of the vehicles, the company’s management is generally responsible for checking driver’s licenses. They can delegate this responsibility to fleet managers, but must still ensure the checks are done properly, and remain liable if they’re not.
Why do I need to ensure the drivers in my company undergo driver training?
In many countries, such as Germany, training for fleet drivers is obligatory. Businesses and fleet managers need to make sure their drivers are trained to drive safely, and they understand their training.
Is Avrios driver training certified and up to date?
Yes. For example, in Germany, our training is DGUV-certified and updated regularly. You don’t need to worry about any updates. We do it for you.
