Step by step: taking fleet management to the next level

Klaus Elfring came to Avrios in search of a tool for electronic driver’s license checks. “Almost all systems rely on a sticker on the driver’s license that needs to be read with a separate device,” explains the fleet manager. That wasn’t an option for RÜTÜ, where vehicle drivers change frequently and aren’t always on site, such as field staff. With Avrios, driver’s license checks are not only hassle-free but can also be easily integrated into the day at a time that suits the drivers.

For Klaus Elfring, this reduces the time required for checks by 80%. The system also automatically informs him who has completed the check and who still needs to. Some follow-up calls are inevitable, but overall, the electronic handling of the checks is a huge relief for the fleet manager, allowing him to manage his tasks even from the home office.

Data overview, time savings, and modular expansion

While driver’s license checks run smoothly and save valuable time, Klaus Elfring is also using Avrios to create files for all vehicles, collect data, and analyze it. He appreciates the system’s flexibility and modular design and is convinced that Avrios offers even more savings potential for RÜTÜ’s fleet.
