Administration of Fines

Administration of Fines

Fines are tedious for a fleet manager - very often you have to pass them on to the respective driver and ensure that the fines are paid on time. Keep track of all fines and automate the necessary communication with drivers and authorities - with Avrios you have all information and processes in one place.

Here’s some of the ways Avrios helps you in your day-to-day

Driver license checks and driver instructions can be time consuming tasks

Accurately fulfilling compliance tasks – especially those involving multiple stakeholders and remote drivers – needs a robust process and often takes up considerable time.

Advantage of Avrios in fleet management:

With Avrios drivers are automatically informed of upcoming appointments and can carry out the checks and instructions quickly and easily by themselves. We provide you with the tools you need to allow drivers to execute their tasks remotely – saving you and them time and helping to ensure compliance.

It’s hard to keep track of the various different deadlines and appointments for your fleet

Compliance tasks need to be executed at regular – but predictable – intervals. This can become very difficult to manage when you are dealing with fleet sizes of a larger scale.

Advantage of Avrios in fleet management:

We help you to automate the scheduling of compliance appointments and the coordination of task completion. With Avrios, there is no need to waste time exchanging emails and phone calls with drivers just to get the job done.

Manual compliance management administration leaves you with little visibility of potential risk.

The serious problem here is with manual management, not only do you spend far too much time dealing with appointment scheduling and communication with your drivers to ensure the driver license checks and driver training is completed, but you also will find it difficult to gain visibility of potential issues and risk. Especially without clear reporting.

Advantage of Avrios in fleet management:

We equip you with all the reports you need to identify and manage potential risks – we’ll even send you an automated alert if we detect a potential issue.

FAQ Driver License Check

The control of driving licences is legally prescribed as one of the holder obligations according to § 21 (StVG). Failure to do so can result in civil and criminal consequences for business and fleet managers.
In Germany for example, the frequency of driver license checks is not legally determined, but we recommend to do so twice a year to reduce risk. In special cases, e.g. drivers with increased risk of losing their license or with pool vehicles, a check even more often can be necessary.
As the holder of the vehicles, the management is generally responsible for checking driving licences. The management can delegate the control and liability obligations to fleet managers, making them responsible. However, even if the duties of the owner are delegated, the management must ensure that the employees perform their work carefully and remain liable for the driving licence check to this extent.
Compliance in the driving licence check is not easy. There are numerous processes that need to be kept under control at all times. These include in particular: It must be ensured that, despite illness and holidays, the necessary control intervals are always observed. The controls must be documented transparently.

In Austria, a check is to be carried out in accordance with the law at regular intervals. We recommend checking this at least once a year.

In Switzerland, the legal situation is more indirect but nonetheless, certain compliance obligations gain more and more importance. In the SVG paragraphs 95 and 100, the control of driver license is also necessary to mitigate any risk for the business and management and jurisdiction has also started to emphasize this duty.
Avrios is built to make fleet management and all tasks as easy and seamless as possible. Therefore, also compliance tasks are fully integrated into the management of the whole fleet – starting with automated tasks, notifications and reminders to keep track of all necessary appointments for cars and drivers. The solutions for driver license check and driver training are designed to work for fully remote drivers and fleets, all can be done online and independent from location and time. No additional hardware is necessary, such as RFID tags. There is no need for additional apps the driver needs to install, the check as well as the training work with any smartphone and an internet browser only.
Avrios’ solution is data protection compliant. Avrios was developed with data protection in mind.

FAQ UVV

According to dguv regulation 70, business and the fleet manager need to make sure the driver is instructed in how to drive safely and has also proven to understand all these instructions.
The training has to cover all necessary aspects such as vehicle check, load safety, distractions while driving, behaviour in case of breakdowns and accidents, influence of medication and alcohol, etc.
The training needs to be done once a year – including teaching the content, making sure the driver has understood all relevant aspects and complete documentation.
The e-learning solution of Avrios is dguv-certified and therefore is always updated with the latest information.
There are various advantages with an e-learning version. Drivers are notified automatically about any upcoming training, the training and test can be done independently, as well as remotely. The driver can even pause a training session and continue later. The training completion, as well as the test, are fully documented in the system and the next training is scheduled directly according to the selected frequency. This saves time for drivers and fleet managers and replaces any tiring organisation of onsite events.
